RO Sinopsis: “Opt ilustrate din lumea ideală” este un documentar cu filmări găsite, alcătuit exclusiv din reclame românești post-socialiste. Reunind aceste documente ale lungii perioade de tranziție a României, ele sunt făcute să vorbească despre viață, iubire și moarte, despre corp și fragilitatea umană, despre natură și supranatural, despre istoria recentă și, bineînțeles, despre socialism și capitalism. Un film între poezia găsită și o enciclopedie învechită, între trash art și Summa theologiae.

Premiul ReFrame pentru utilizarea creativă a materialelor de arhivă în cadrul IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam), 2024.

EN Synopsis: Eight Postcards from Utopia is a found-footage documentary, assembled exclusively out of post-socialist Romanian advertisements. In bringing together these documents of Romania’s long transition period, they are made to speak about life, love and death, about the body and human frailty, about nature and the supernatural, about recent history, and, of course, about socialism and capitalism. A film between found poetry and an outdated encyclopaedia, between trash art and Summa theologiae.
