Eine produktion des Replika-Zentrums für Bildungstheater

Die Bühnenfassung „Mutters Augen” des Romans „Der Sommer, in dem meine Mutter grüne Augen hatte” von Tatiana Țîbuleac untersucht die Beziehung zwischen einem Sohn und seiner Mutter in deren letzten Lebensmonaten. Die Krankheit der Mutter und das Warten auf den Tod bringen unterdrückte Erinnerungen, unausgesprochene Worte und beeindruckende Erkenntnisse ans Licht. Gemeinsam leben sie ein ganzes Leben während eines einzigen Sommers aus. Zum ersten Mal sieht Aleksy seiner Mutter direkt in die Augen. Mit Wut und Zärtlichkeit schaut er sie an und entdeckt den unsichtbaren Faden, der sie mit den Menschen verbindet, die schon von uns gegangen sind.

Der Sommer, in dem Mutters Augen grün waren, ist nie zu Ende gegangen.

Die Aufführung findet auf Rumänisch, ohne Übersetzung ins Deutsche und Englische, statt.

Spectacolul „Ochii mamei”, dramatizare după romanul „Vara în care mama a avut ochii verzi”, de Tatiana Țîbuleac, explorează relația dintre un fiu și mama sa, pe parcursul ultimelor luni din viața acesteia. Boala mamei și așteptarea morții declanșează un flux neașteptat de amintiri reprimate, cuvinte nespuse și revelații transformatoare. Împreună, cei doi trăiesc o viață întreagă înghesuită într-o singură vară.

Pentru prima dată, Aleksy își privește mama drept în ochi. Cu furie și cu tandrețe, Aleksy își privește mama și descoperă firele invizibile care ne leagă, în moduri nebănuite, de cei care nu mai sunt alături de noi.

Vara în care mama a avut ochii verzi nu s-a terminat niciodată.

Spectacolul este în limba română, fără traducere în limbile germană și engleză

The performance “Mother’s Eyes”, a stage adaptation of the novel The Summer When My Mother Had Green Eyes by Tatiana Țîbuleac, explores the relationship between a son and his mother during the final months of her life. The mother’s illness and the anticipation of death trigger an unexpected flow of repressed memories, unspoken words, and transformative revelations. Together, the two live an entire lifetime compressed into a single summer. For the first time, Aleksy looks his mother straight in the eyes. With both anger and tenderness, he gazes at her and discovers the invisible threads that bind us, in unimaginable ways, to those who are no longer with us.

The summer when my mother had green eyes never truly ended.

The performance is in Romanian, without translation into German or English.
