Unsere Gesellschaft hat sich dem Traum des Fortschritts verschrieben. Doch was für die einen Fortschritt bedeutet, heißt für die anderen Ausbeutung und Benachteiligung.

Sinfonie des Fortschritts zeigt, wie der Fortschritt des kapitalistischen Systems immer neue Formen der Ausbeutung und Kolonialisierung mit sich bringt - zum Beispiel, wie der technologische Fortschritt zu Kontrolle und Bestrafung führt, anstatt zu schützen oder zu unterstützen. Und wie die Gewalt in den Beziehungen zwischen West und Ost fortschreitet, verstärkt durch die Pandemie, in der ArbeitsmigrantInnen den Bedingungen westlicher Gesellschaften ausgesetzt sind.

Societatea noastră visează cu fidelitate la progres, însă ceea ce pentru unii înseamnă progres, pentru alții înseamnă exploatare și discriminare.

Simfonia Progresului demonstrează cum avansul sistemului capitalist permite constant dezvoltarea unor noi forme de exploatare și de colonizare – de exemplu, felul în care progresul tehnologic duce la control și pedeapsă în loc de protecție și susținere și cum relația violentă dintre Est și Vest se accentuează, încurajată de pandemia în care muncitorii străini sunt subiectul condițiilor societăților vestice.

Our society faithfully dreams of progress, but what for some means progress, for others means exploitation and discrimination.

The Symphony of Progress demonstrates how the advance of the capitalist system constantly allows new forms of exploitation and colonization to develop - for example, how technological progress leads to control and punishment instead of protection and support, and how the violent relationship between East and West is accentuated by the pandemic in which foreign workers are subjected to the conditions of Western societies.
