Eines Abends hält der Versicherungsinspektor Rolf bei einer Raststätte am Rande der Autobahn. Von hier aus kann er die Straßenstrecke gut beobachten, auf der es zuletzt zu einer hohen Anzahl von Unfällen gekommen ist. Zu seiner Verzweiflung wird er ununterbrochen von der neugierigen Tankstellenangestellten Beate angesprochen, die die seltsamsten Dinge sagt. Während er versucht, ihr aus dem Weg zu gehen, lernt er die Schauspielerin Jayne kennen, die sich ebenfalls dort aufhält. Fasziniert von der Schauspielerin kann Rolf den Eindruck nicht loswerden, sie doch zu kennen. Während Rolf versucht, Ordnung in seine Gedanken zu bringen, geschehen an der Tankstelle unerklärliche Dinge und die Atmosphäre wird bedrohlich. dosenfleisch ist das zweite Theaterstück von Ferdinand Schmalz und wurde 2016 zu den Mülheimer Theatertagen eingeladen. Es ist ein atypischer Krimi, in dem der Dramatiker Themen wie die sozialen und umweltlichen Folgen der Entwicklung des Transportwesens sowie die unpersönlichen Beziehungen zwischen Menschen in einer immer eilenden Welt untersucht. Diese Themen werden sowohl in den reflexiven Monologen der Figuren als auch in den epischen Passagen der Figur des Fernfahrers angesprochen, der das Geschehen teilweise erzählt.

Este o poveste detectivă atipică, în care dramaturgul abordează teme precum impactul ecologic și social al dezvoltării infrastructurii și relațiile impersonale dintre oameni într-o lume veșnic grăbită. One evening, Rolf, a motor insurance inspector, stops at a gas station on the side of the highway. From there, he can observe the stretch of road where an unusually high number of accidents have been occurring lately. To his dismay, the nosy gas station clerk, Beate, keeps approaching him, rambling on with bizarre remarks.Trying to avoid her, he meets Jayne, an actress wandering through the same rest stop. Fascinated by her, Rolf cannot shake the feeling that he knows her from somewhere. As he struggles to sort out his thoughts, strange things begin to happen at the station, and the atmosphere grows increasingly ominous. dosenfleisch is Ferdinand Schmalz’s second play and was invited to the Mülheim Theatre Days in 2016. It is an unconventional detective story in which the playwright tackles themes such as the ecological and social impact of infrastructure development and the impersonal relationships between people in a perpetually hurried world. These themes are explored both in the characters’ reflective monologues and in the epic passages of the long-haul truck driver, the character who partially narrates the action.

Seit Kurzem in Deutschland angekommen, begegnen sich die Schriftstellerin Olivia und der immer-noch-werdende Regisseur Popeye im Deutschkurs und beginnen eine ziemlich konventionelle Liebesgeschichte. Trotz der Sprachbarriere und der zehnjährigen Altersunterschieds zwischen ihnen - er ist jünger als sie - gehen die beiden auf Dates, ziehen zusammen ein und werden zu einer kleinen Familie. Doch in ihrem scheinbar unkomplizierten und regulären Paarleben schleichen sich Probleme ein, die nur einer von ihnen zu merken scheint. LIEBE/ Eine argumentative Übung lädt uns ein, insgeheim, wie durch ein Fenster, das Leben von Olivia und Popeye, die nach den beliebten Archetypen aus den Zeichentrickfilmen konturiert sind, zu verfolgen. Durch eine ironische Analyse von patriarchalen Strukturen und vom Status des Künstlers und durch das Eintauchen in Olivias innere Welt untersucht Sivan Ben Yishais Text die Art und Weise in der Menschen, deren solche sozialen Strukturen bewusst sind, in ihren persönlichen Leben gerade denselben Mustern verfallen, die sie öffentlich Kritisieren.

Recently settled in Germany, the writer Olivia and the ever-in-the-making director Popeye meet at a German language course and begin what seems to be a fairly ordinary love affair. Despite the language barrier and the ten-year age difference between them—he being the younger one—the lovers go on dates, move in together, and build a life side by side. However, in their seemingly uncomplicated and conventional story, problems begin to surface—problems that only one of them appears to notice. LOVE / An Argumentative Exercise invites us to peer almost secretly, as if through a window, into the couple’s life of Olivia and Popeye, characters shaped after the beloved animated archetypes. Through an ironic analysis of patriarchal structures, the status of the artist, and a deep dive into Olivia’s inner world, playwright Sivan Ben Yishai’s text explores how people who appear rationally aware of these social structures can nonetheless fall, in their personal lives, into the very patterns they publicly criticize.

Ein Teil des Projekts „Drama Nights“ findet im Freien statt, sodass bei Regen oder ungünstigem Wetter folgende Regelung gilt: Wenn es vor Vorstellungsbeginn zu regnen beginnt, wird die Aufführung verschoben und die Karten behalten ihre Gültigkeit. Die Zuschauer können auch eine Rückerstattung des Kartenpreises beantragen oder die Karten gegen Karten zu einer anderen Vorstellung des Deutschen Staatstheaters Temeswar tauschen. Beginnt es während der Aufführung zu regnen, wird diese unterbrochen und nach Ende des Regens fortgesetzt. Ist eine Fortsetzung nicht möglich, wird die Vorstellung abgesagt. Eine Verschiebung findet nicht statt und der Ticketpreis wird nicht zurückerstattet.

O parte a proiectului Drama Nights se desfășoară în aer liber, astfel că în caz de ploaie sau vreme nefavorabilă, va funcţiona următoarea regulă: – dacă ploaia începe înaintea orei de spectacol, reprezentaţia se reprogramează, biletele rămânând valabile. Spectatorii pot opta și pentru restituirea banilor pe bilete, sau pentru schimbarea acestora pentru un alt spectacol din programul Teatrului German de Stat. Dacă ploaia începe în timpul reprezentaţiei, spectacolul se va întrerupe și se va relua la oprirea acesteia. Dacă reluarea nu este posibilă, iar spectacolul se suspendă, acesta nu se reprogramează și nici nu se rambursează costul biletului.

The Drama Nights project takes place outdoors, so in case of rain or unfavorable weather, the following rules apply: if it starts raining before the scheduled performance time, the show will be rescheduled and tickets will remain valid, with spectators having the option to request a refund or exchange their tickets for another performance from the German State Theatre’s program; if it starts raining during the performance, the show will be interrupted and will resume once the rain stops, and if resuming is not possible and the show is suspended, it will not be rescheduled and ticket costs will not be refunded.
